We Like to Move It, Move It
August 4th – 8th
9:00am – Noon
Instructor: Laura Koontz

This workshop is perfect for squirmy, wormy kids with tons of energy. They will get their wiggles out through a variety of activities, including dancing or games (like Limbo).  Their creative ideas will be incorporated into art projects that move.  Crank toys, kinetic costumes, collaborative painting, and stop motion videos are just a few of the fun ways they’ll express themselves through movement.

Entering 2nd-3rd Grade

Creature FX
July 21st – 25th
9:00am – 4:00pm
Instructors: Cat Lynch and Alvin White

Fuzzy, Funky Creatures
June 23rd – 27th
9:00am – 4:00pm
Instructor: Judy Gerdeman

Student artists will create over the top, one-of-a-kind muppet-style hand puppets as they learn basic sewing and pattern making skills.  These fuzzy, lovable puppets will then be embellished with hand-felted wool shapes. Finally, artists will play with different stage and television puppet techniques that they’ll test out on friends and families with a collaborative performance at the end of the week.

Display artifacts for all to see in a custom cabinet of curiosities.
